![]() A good example might be: You are using most of your out 1-16 assignments for buses, Main L/R and subs, but have 2 unused spots you can still use for direct outs of some post fader ch’s. Then instead of p16 1-8 (or whatever) in the card out menu you would select the user out menu you just made. You can use for example, 3 from Ultranet out, 3 from aux out and 2 from out 1-16 for an 8 ch user bank. You still need to "stage" the menus with assignments that suit your needs but you don’t need all 8 (or 6) from within a single category. The user out menu allows you to grab single ch’s from different categories into a single bank. For your current purposes this is probably fine, sometimes that is not the case. These 3 routing menus, unofficially referred to as "staging" menus, will do the job but you are then ‘stuck’ with the entire group of 8 ch’s (6 with the aux out menu) from that group. You can then easily get 32 card out ch's with post fader taps. These 2 other menus allow you to select tap options just like the Ultranet menu does. The easiest way to grab another 16 ch’s with tap point options is to use the “outputs 1-16” or the "Aux out" menus along with the Ultranet out menu you are now using. ![]() EDIT: I was looking again at this and thought a bit of additional text, a picture and some re-wording might help. ![]()
